Professor Solomon Olufunmilayo Badejo left behind a legacy of generosity, kindness, and love towards humanity. His altruism transcended self-sacrifice to touch so many lives in a very positive way.

To sustain his legacy, his wife and children are announcing the establishment of The Solomon Badejo Foundation with the mission to strengthen basic social amenities and foster education within local communities.

Below are the Foundation’s current activities:

The Adeola Odutola College (Public)/Solomon Badejo Educational fund

The Solomon Badejo Foundation is partnering with the Adeola Odutola College (Public) to establish an educational fund for use in procuring essential school supplies for students in need, and for future capital projects aimed at optimizing the College’s academic curriculum and student experience.

The Adeola Odutola College (private)/Solomon Badejo Scholarship Program

The Solomon Badejo Foundation has partnered with the Adeola Odutola College (AOC) to provide full scholarships to gifted students who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. The scholarship will cover full tuition for the entire period of the student’s education from Junior Secondary School (JSS1) to Senior Secondary School (SSS3).

The Ijebu-Ikija Potable Water Project

In line with its mission to strengthen basic social amenities within communities, The Solomon Badejo Foundation is working with the community to construct a bore hole in Ijebu-Ikija. The aim is to provide a sustainable source for potable water for members of the community, especially women and girls who bear the most brunt when potable water supply is limited.
